H. E. Maj. Gen. Fahd bin Mubarak Al-Khayarin, President of Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies, met with H. E. Carmen Buttigieg, Director of Defense Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Security, Reform & Equality of the Republic of Malta.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them.

Following that, a lecture was delivered by Mr. Stephan Moscat, Deputy Director of Defense Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Security, Reform & Equality, entitled (Small Countries Defensive Policy Challenge) addressed to the participants of the Joint Command & Staff Course No. (10). A discussion on the main points addressed in the lecture followed.
