Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies hosted, within the curriculum of National Defense Course No. (4), H. E. Mr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, where he met with H. E. Maj. Gen. Fahd bin Mubarak Al-Khayarin, President of Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies, and a number of senior Academy officers.

H. E. the guest delivered a lecture entitled (United Nations Role in Maintaining & Keeping Peace) to the participants of the National Defense Course No. (4) of senior employees of ministries and security entities in the country. After the lecture, a discussion on the main topics addressed by H. E. took place.
