Under the patronage of H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies witnessed the discussion of its first PhD. thesis under the title (Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities in Modern Wars, Case Study: Russian-NATO Conflict) by the researcher Brig. (Eng) Fahd Hamad Al-Athba. The discussion is the first on the PhD. level in the history of higher education at Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies.

This scientific event was attended by H. E. Maj. Gen. Hamad bin Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, Advisor to H. E. Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and H. E. Maj. Gen.
