Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and in the presence of her Excellency Mrs. Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education, and His Excellency Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies celebrated the graduation of the second batch of postgraduate studies at the master's degree level.
The number of graduates has reached 40, including both male and female graduates from the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior, specializing in four majors: defense diplomacy, defense economics, intelligence studies, and cyber defense.
His Excellency Major General Fahd bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen, President of Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies, confirmed that the academy, after obtaining academic accreditation from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, has begun requesting international academic accreditation from FIBA. In addition, the Academy has started coordinating with the National Qualifications and Academic Accreditation Committee to obtain institutional accreditation, which will position the academy in the first place in the quality of education in the Middle East.
The ceremony was attended by a number of senior state officials, as well as commanders and officers from the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior.
His Excellency Major General Fahd bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen, President of Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies, congratulated the students and expressed his wishes for their success and the application of the knowledge they acquired in their professional lives.
