Praise be to the Lord of all worlds. Prayers and peace be upon our Prophet, Muhammad, his family and all of his companions.
A great dream has come true, and an aspiration became reality. When all elements were brought together to establish this vast and lofty edifice, there came the most sought-after destination for ambitious military students from everywhere. With clarity of purpose and means to achieve it, the institute continues to produce graduates of Command and Staff Courses consecutively. In this knowledge edifice, we seek to achieve new dreams that have blossomed and ripened with our efforts, being put completely into its continuous development, planning, resolve and determination. By the will of God, we are adding another golden feather to our beloved homeland’s cap. And here, by the grace of God, this academic procession moves on with its lucid inspirational rhythm, the support of our wise and visionary leadership and the efforts of a group of loyal people with great thoughts and initiatives.
The Joint Command and Staff College is witnessing remarkable development and is moving high with confident strides towards achieving its goals. It motivates and energizes the minds and brains to produce qualified elite officers with evolved perceptions, elevated ideas, knowledge and the ability to apply the art of leadership and carry out the staff duties in distinctive and professional standards. They will also wield an active constructive role in decision-making by employing what they learnt and can contribute efficiently and positively both during fieldwork and in times of crisis.
The Joint Command Staff College strives to take the leading role. Here, we want to note the importance of the Command and Staff Course in the career and professional life of officers. It is considered one of the most significant military courses that provides abundance of military and academic studies and works as one of the most important tributaries of military science. It also offers skills and tools that can contribute to smooth learning and better understanding of the joint staff duties, coupled with an academic program facilitating graduates to obtain a master's degree in military and security studies.
We at the Joint Command and Staff College work diligently to harness all means while meeting all requirements needed to deliver an education in which we strive for excellence and competitiveness, keeping pace with time. Eager to keep up with continuous development and modernization following the nature of the tasks, threats and challenges in the strategic environment, we are doing our best to enable the student officers to benefit the most from the curriculum and overcome difficulties they encounter during their educational journey. Aiming to convert knowledge into various functional areas and to take our Qatar armed forces into heights, we make every effort to focus on the need to take advantage of the resources available in the college to acquire knowledge and expertise.
