It is my great pleasure and pride to extend my thanks and appreciation to everyone who placed in me the confidence to lead this pioneering academic edifice.
I would like to take this platform to express my great confidence in the Academy family from the staff, faculty members, to scholars. I do believe that together we will continue our perpetual pursuit towards the pinnacle of excellence, with mutual support and enhancement.
We will move forward together on the path of the Academy towards realizing more brilliance and excellence in its local and international academic programs, and pioneering social contributions through the vision of "striving for achieving leadership and excellence in the fields of defense and security". The Academy has been keen to raise awareness among the society of the importance of strategic integration between civil and military institutions.
In the coming years, we look forward to building the academic vision based on an integrated contemporary strategy that leads to a number of future plans and projects, as per the priorities, the development of existing programs. We have to develop further programs that would serve society's future perspective in its interrelationships, and constitute a social, economic and cultural leverage alike. In addition to available specializations, we seek to expand defense and security academic programmes currently offered by the Academy.
Joaan bin Jassim Academy aspires to be the leading higher education campus in the country that brings civil and military institutions under one roof, where students can exchange their knowledge and expertise and refine their administrative and leadership skills that helps them overcome obstacles in practical and professional life. They can also participate in relevant military and security researches, which opens the horizon to study political and security challenges and changes, and analyze the strategic environment at the regional and international levels.
Finally, our commitment to achieving excellence in education stems from our firm vision that education is the foundation for the development of nations. We are all called upon to do our utmost, and to deploy our maximum energy to support this distinct initiative for our righteous academic scholars.
