On Monday, May 26, 2025, Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies hosted a delegation from Japan, headed by Mr. Manabu Imakyurei, President of the National Institute for Defense Studies of Japan.

The delegation was received in the guest hall of the academic building, where they were welcomed by the Commandant of the National Defense College, Brigadier General Abdulhadi Mohammed Triheeb Al-Naifih Al-Hajri. The visit was also attended by a number of senior officers and academy instructors
