The Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies celebrated the graduation of the 5th National Defense Course, the 11th Joint Command and Staff Course, and the Postgraduate Programs (Doctorate level).

The ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs. Also in attendance were His Excellency Mr. Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanem, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs; His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Minister of Environment and Climate Change; and His Excellency Lieutenant General Hazza bin Khalil Al Shahwani, Commander of the Qatari Amiri Guard. The Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies celebrated the graduation of the 5th National Defense Course, the 11th Joint Command and Staff Course, and the Postgraduate Programs (Doctorate level), at the Academy’s headquarters in the city of Al Khor.

The participants in the two courses and the postgraduate (Doctorate) programs are senior-ranking officers from units of the Qatari Armed Forces, military and security agencies, as well as senior officials from ministries and state institutions. The programs also included the participation of officers from brotherly and friendly countries.

The ceremony included the honoring of outstanding graduates and a presentation highlighting the key phases of the educational journey at the academy.

A number of Their Excellencies, ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries to the State of Qatar, and senior officers of the Qatar Armed Forces also attended the event.
