First of all, I would like to welcome you to the website of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Research, and I wish all students every opportunity to gain specialized knowledge and professional skills at Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies. Currently, the Deanship offers one doctoral program in defense and security studies and four master's programs in defense diplomacy, defense economics, intelligence studies and cyber defense.

These programs reflect the vision and mission of the Academy, which seeks to be a national, regional and international model for higher education institute specialized in defense studies. These programs are tailored based on the study plans and a benchmarks consistent with the similar international programs adopted at other universities. The teaching process is also conducted according to the latest intellectual trends in the academic specialization of defense studies by an elite group of academicians with doctoral degrees from prestigious national, regional and international universities. With extensive experience in working with international organizations and military alliances, they are highly qualified in teaching and research publishing.

It is worth noting that the Deanship ensures the importance of evaluating these programs in order to improve, develop and expand them according to academic values and international best practices in the field of quality assurance of higher education.

The Deanship attaches great importance to specialized academic research in defense studies by producing research and studies that contribute to the consolidation and development of knowledge in this academic discipline in the Arab world in addition to the development and training of the human component as the fundamental pillar of knowledge production.
