Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies received Major General Shayeg Mesfer Al Shahwani, Deputy Chief of Staff for Joint Operations, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was received by Brigadier General (Dr.) Rajih Mohammed Bin Aqeel Al Nabet, President of Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies, in the presence of college commanders and a number of senior officers of the academy.

His excellency delivered a lecture to the students of National Defense Course No. (6) on "The Contemporary Strategic Environment and its Impact on Military Operations."
