Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Bin Hasan Al Thani the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of State of Defense Affairs, with the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ghanem Bin Shaheen Bin Ghanem Al Ghanem the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Bin Turki Al-Subaie the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, His Excellency Mr. Ali Bin Ahmed Al Kuwari the Minister of Finance, Her Excellency Dr. Mariam Bint Ali Bin Nasser Al Misnad the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs and His Excellency Maj. Gen. Mohammed Bin Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Suwaidi the Commander of the Qatari Emiri Guard, Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies celebrated the Graduation of the 6th National Defense Course, the 12th Joint Command and Staff Course, the 2nd intake of Postgraduate Program (PhD) and the 4th intake of the Master degree holders at the Academy Headquarters.

The participants from the two courses and the postgraduate program are senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces units, military and security agencies, and senior employees in the ministries and institutions in the country, in addition to the participation of a number of officers from brotherly and friendly countries. The ceremony included honoring the outstanding students and graduates.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries to the State of Qatar, and a number of senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces.
