- Managing and coordinating postgraduate programs
- Recommending the approval of new postgraduate programs.
- Reviewing and evaluating academic programs and its outputs to ensure their quality and development.
- Supervising the admission and registration of students and making sure that they meet the requirements for the programme and graduation.
- Considering the grievances of the learners.
- Attracting distinguished teaching and research expertise specialized in defense studies.
- Supervising the academic and professional development of teachers, directing staff and students.
- Following up on the implementation of agreements and memorandums of understanding related to academic partnerships.
- Strategic planning and setting research priorities.
- Enhancing the research skills of the students, faculty members and directing staff.
- Overseeing and managing internal and external research grants.
- Ensuring that graduation research projects, master's theses, and doctoral theses are compatible with the research priorities of the Armed Force and the State.
